DODGER - band gig at The George, 16 Jan « Result #1 on Dec 30, 2009, 12:23pm »
DODGER - live band - at The George Pub, Fair Oak, Eastleigh
on SATURDAY 16 JANUARY 2010 from 9pm
Dodger are a superb local five-piece rock & pop covers band, performing a wide range of rock & pop classics from each of the past 5 decades. We specialise in weddings, functions and parties but also play a busy schedule of pub & club venues across Hampshire. We will be performing at our 'home' venue, The George in Fair Oak, on Saturday 16 January 2010. It's our first gig of the New Year so we hope you've saved a little bit of partying spirit from the festive season to help us see the New Year in with a bang.
If you haven't seen us before, you're in for a treat. The diversity of artists we cover include: Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Queen, Squeeze, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, R.E.M., Crowded House, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Robbie Williams, Take That, U2, Scissor Sisters, Kaiser Chiefs, Stereophonics, Snow Patrol and many more.
Check out our website for more details, including full gig schedule for 2009, and to listen to some of our recordings: http://www.dodger-band.co.uk - you can also contact us directly through the website or email us at info@dodger-band.co.uk
You can also follow us on Twitter - just log in and search for DodgerBand.
We hope you can make it on Saturday 16 January. We usually start our first set around 9pm so get there early to get a good spot near the bar as it often gets busy pretty quickly. See you there!

Re: WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY? « Result #5 on Dec 27, 2009, 4:04pm »
On Monday we had our faithfull little dog put to sleep, on Tuesday I went to the dentist, on Wednesday I fell ill with a tummy bug which carried on through Thursday, on Friday we had all the family over for dinner,on Saturday our oldest daughter told us she's going to South Africa to live with her boyfriend in 2011, on Sunday I still feel ill so we went to Towsure to cheer ourselves up - but it didn't work.

Ditto from me!
Apologies for my absence but as you probably saw by the recent Admin messages on the main group my PC died and my husband had to run the group but could only do it whilst at work.
